In this audio from June 1, 2016, Drew Mariani of Relevant Radio and I discuss what I am calling the story of the 4-year-old boy who was saved by the wise zoo keeper. We discuss the event itself, in which a gorilla was killed so that the boy would not be killed by the gorilla. We talk about Pope Francis’ understanding of environmentalism, what this story reveals about our culture, and many more dimensions of the story, and take a few phone calls as well. Also, meant to say “Joseph and Mary” not “Jesus and Mary”, when I was making the point that all parents have lost track of their kids now and then, and if society is going to arrest this mother, then they we would have to arrest Joseph and Mary too since they lost track of the child Jesus in the Temple – for 3 days.
